Recipe for Kitty Cookies

Here's a recipe for cookies that any cat would like. Yeah right! Maybe. LOL Aren't they fussy? What did they do before they met us? Mine were both feral. Did they eat at all? Now, they've turned me into a can opener. Ah.... but we love them. See if your cats will eat these. Hmmm change the catnip to basil and I might eat them myself.

Kitty Cookies

makes 12-18 cookies

1 1/4 cup whole wheat flour
1/4 cup milk
1 egg
2 Tbs wheat germ
2 Tbs molasses
2 Tbs canola oil
1 tsp dried catnip

1) Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large mixing bowl, stir together all ingredients.

2) Grease a cookie sheet. Using a lightly floured rolling pin, roll out dough onto sheet.

3) Use a knife to cut dough into 1/2 inch pieces. Bake 20 to 22 minutes.

4) Cool. Store leftovers in an airtight container in a cool place.
